A friendly space to socialise and drink in the heart of Pakenham, Suffolk
Pakenham Social Club, located at the The Recreation Ground in Pakenham, Suffolk, is a membership-based space in which local villagers are encouraged to come along for social events including sport viewings, virtual race nights, games evenings and regular open evenings.
Run by a committee of Pakenham residents, the club relies on volunteers and partnerships with local businesses to ensure it’s members can enjoy a great time all year round.
The social club is best known for organising and hosting it’s annual charity Beer and Music Festival, raising thousands for selected charities each Spring Bank Holiday.

Join us on Saturday 23rd May 2026 at the Pakenham Recreational Ground for our annual charity beer & music festival featuring a vast selection of drink, including craft ales, gin bars, cocktails, soft drinks and more. They’ll be a varying range of musicians playing throughout the day with something for everyone to enjoy.
Become a member with us
By paying an annual fee, members can attend the social club and its hosted events free of charge and have access to discounts such as tickets for our annual beer and music festival!
We welcome locals from both Pakenham and surrounding villages to join us and become a member with us for just £15 a year. We are a pet friendly, welcoming community that hosts regular events in support of local charities as well as opening for drinks and entertainment on Friday evenings.
